Equipped with a four-port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet switch, the WGT624 is 802.11g standards compliant and compatible with 802.11b. To ensure that the WGT624 firmware is always up-to-date, the unit includes the new Smart Wizard assisted firmware update feature to simplify the download and upgrade of the unit to the latest firmware version in a single click.

The WGT624, which features NETGEAR’s Smart Wizard install assistant, an interactive step-by-step tutorial for ease of set-up, is highly secure with over 10 security and privacy features including a true firewall (SPI and NAT), WPA security, 128-bit WEP encryption, multiple VPN pass-through support, intrusion detection and prevention, and security logging with e-mail alerts.

Innovations Honoree – XE102 Wall-Plugged Ethernet Bridge
NETGEAR’s XE102 Wall-Plugged Ethernet Bridge is a high-speed, compact networking adapter that enables users to access the Internet through ordinary electrical outlets at speeds of up to 14 Mbps, eliminating the need to install new wires for networking. The product can also provide a complement to wireless networks that may not provide the necessary coverage.
